چکیده

This paper discusses the discrepancy between the stated aims of agent research with regard to agent applications, and the reality as found in many (general) agent conferences. After analysing this discrepancy by looking at the distribution of application papers at past AAMAS conferences, we analyse relevant stakeholders for agent application papers and provide suggestions for them. The aim of this paper is twofold. First, we want to provide a basis for discussing the state and status of agent applications in research oriented conferences. Secondly, we provide initial guidelines for authors and reviewers which might further the acceptance of application oriented work in the agent community.

On the Associated Primes of the generalized $d$-Local Cohomology Modules

The first part of the paper is concerned to relationship between the sets of associated primes of the generalized $d$-local cohomology modules and the ordinary  generalized local cohomology  modules.  Assume that $R$ is a commutative Noetherian local ring, $M$ and $N$  are  finitely generated  $R$-modules and $d, t$ are two integers. We prove that $Ass H^t_d(M,N)=bigcup_{Iin Phi} Ass H^t_I(M,N)...

D-Spectrum and D-Energy of Complements of Iterated Line Graphs of Regular Graphs

The D-eigenvalues {µ1,…,µp} of a graph G are the eigenvalues of its distance matrix D and form its D-spectrum. The D-energy, ED(G) of G is given by ED (G) =∑i=1p |µi|. Two non cospectral graphs with respect to D are said to be D-equi energetic if they have the same D-energy. In this paper we show that if G is an r-regular graph on p vertices with 2r ≤ p - 1, then the complements of iterated lin...

A review on recent applications of brushless DC electric machines and their potential in energy saving

Electric motors are the largest consumer of world electric energy, consuming more than twice as much as lighting, the next largest consumer. Electric motors account for between 43 and 46% of all global electricity consumption approximately. They give rise to about 6 040 Mt of CO2 emissions. End‐users approximately spend USD 565 billion per year on electricity [1]. In recent years, increase in e...

Microencapsulation of Butyl Palmitate in Polystyrene-co-Methyl Methacrylate Shell for Thermal Energy Storage Application

MicroEncapsulated Phase Change Materials (MEPCM) are green materials which could be used for thermal energy saving applications in buildings as a non-pollutant method for environmental. PCMs could passively reduce peak cooling loads in hot seasons because of their high energy storage capacities at a constant temperature. Purpose of this paper is manufacturing Microencapsulated PCM (MPCM) pr...
